Nowadays, an increasing number of homes, apartments and commercial spaces are being constructed without carpet due to the issues caused by mud and dirt. In the Pacific Northwest, where we are familiar with these challenges, many older homes in Oregon have hardwood floors instead. However, over time, these floors can lose their shine and become dull. Fortunately, we have a solution to restore your floors without the need for sanding and refinishing. Using a counter rotating machine and an alcohol-based solution, we can disinfect, scrub, clean, and dry your floors, bringing back their original shine. This technology is suitable for various hard surfaces such as engineered wood, laminate, LVT, CVT, polished concrete, and more. Hardwood flooring is made of solid wood, and it’s one of the most expensive types. It is usually made of hardwood species like maple, oak or walnut. It can be refinished multiple times.
Engineered wood flooring looks almost identical to the hardwood on the surface, but instead of a single wood plank, it’s made of a high-quality plywood core with a thin layer of hardwood flooring on top. Engineered wood flooring is a more affordable option, but it can’t be refinished to extend its lifespan.
Laminate flooring (also called floating wood tile in the United States) is a multi-layer synthetic flooring product fused together with a lamination process. Laminate flooring simulates wood (or sometimes stone) with a photographic applique layer under a clear protective layer.
VCT or (vinyl composite tile) is made from a composite material that is aimed at creating a tile that is made of a minimized amount of vinyl in combination with limestone and other materials. Originally made with asbestos this tile can be very expensive to remove and replace.
LVT stands for luxury vinyl tile. It realistically mimics natural materials like stone, marble, travertine, or wood. At the same time, it offers numerous benefits including lower cost, improved scratch resistance, and waterproof performance.
Polished concrete is a multi-step process where a concrete floor is mechanically ground, honed and polished with bonded abrasives in order to cut a concrete floor's surface. It is then refined with each cut in order to achieve a specified level of appearance.
