Our Story

TEXCO Cleaning was founded in 2023 by two close friends—Matt and James—with a shared passion for doing things the right way. Between them, they bring over 16 years of hands-on experience in the industry, with certifications spanning everything from water damage restoration and carpet installation to mold remediation and oriental rug care.

In 2022, Matt relocated to Scappoose with his family, bringing deep industry knowledge and a Texas work ethic to the Northwest. James, a Columbia County native and dedicated Portland firefighter, was already rooted in the community. Together, they saw a need for a cleaning company that did more than just check the boxes—they wanted to build something people could trust.

That’s how TEXCO was born: a company grounded in honesty, hard work, and hometown pride. From your carpets to your air ducts, they’re not just doing a job—they’re standing behind their name, every single time.
